German IA Grades
The student grade will not be in Infinite Campus until the end of the course. In the meantime, it can be checked in the spreadsheet to the right. I will occasionally have to update the averaging formula to get the correct average - check with me first before just trusting the current grade.
Each chapter grade will include the following components:
"HOMEWORKS" & OTHER PRACTICE ASSIGNMENTS
usually worth between 10-20 pts. (each "red page" exercise is worth 5 pts. when assigned)
CHAPTER WORKBOOK
assigned at beginning of chapter, due on TEST DAY
graded on correctness, always out of 50 pts.
PROJECTS
usually at least one assigned per chapter
usually worth between 30-50 pts.
QUIZZES
a few per chapter
usually worth between 20-30 pts.
CHAPTER TEST
on final day of every chapter
assess mastery of all material in chapter
worth 50 pts.
FINAL EXAM
worth 10% of course grade
will be the same scantron final exam given to all German IA students
