Christ Church on the Stray is home to a thriving worshipping community of all ages. We are part of the Anglican (Church of England) tradition, but welcome Christians of all traditions and backgrounds. We extend a particular welcome to those who are just begining to explore Christian faith and those who are seeking to practice their faith again after many years.
On this website you will find a whole range of information about worship, fellowship and learning at Christ Church. Please let us know what you think of the site and please contact us if there is further information that you would find helpful.

WORSHIP & PRAYER:
On the Services page you can now find the full order for Sunday worship here at Christ Church - including the hymns, readings and prayers. There's also a page on the Worship in Stillness evening in October 2009. An ideal way for you to keep in touch with the prayer of the Christian community if you are away!
You will find this week's notice sheet under News Sheet on the side menu, and this week's service booklet under Services.
The Lectionary (the pattern of readings for daily prayer) for the current month is also under Services.
Previous publications are available within our Archive pages or in their own section, for example, previous Lectionaries within 'Prayer'. The search facility works within page content and pdf 'attachments'.
PCC dates are available via the People page along with the vicar's report from 2009 APCM. |
