Cheswardine and Shropshire Population
Comparison of the population in the Parish of Cheswardine and the County of Shropshire
It will be noticed that whilst the population of the Cheswardine Parish peaked in the 1861 census, when the total population was about 1160, this fell to a low of 794 at the 1901 and 1911 censuses.
The population of the Cheswardine Parish has now increased to nearly 1400.
When time permits further interpretation of the census data for Cheswardine will be included.
