I became interested in genealogy in 2008 and have been researching my genetic and cultural roots ever since. As my family history unfolds, I share what I learn by posting the stories of my ancestors on this site.
If you are viewing this page on a wide screen, you should see a menu on the left. If not, you should see a menu button (three horizontal white lines stacked vertically) in the upper left corner of your screen. Click on the menu button for a list of the ancestors whose stories are found here. --Charlie Adler

Some pages have attachments at the bottom. The attachments are usually copies of historical documents with additional information. The documents are in PDF format and can be opened online or downloaded.
Some images, such as the photo of L.M. Witherell, are stored on my Flickr page. If you click on the image, you will be taken to Flickr, where you can download a higher resolution copy of the image. You can tell if an image is stored on Flickr by rolling your cursor over it and looking at the web address in the information bar at the bottom of your browser.

I plan to expand the page with more about my grandfather.
