About Us

CCACC Photo Club was established in 2000 by Mr. Ned Li and several other photography enthusiasts as part of the Chinese Cultural and Community Service Center, CCACC.  The mission of the club has been to improve each member's technical and artistic photography skills.  Since 2000, many featured talks and exhibits have been presented by both club members and guest speakers, including well-known photographers like 四光圈 members, Pulitzer prize winner Essdras Suarez, and Ian Plant.  Numerous theme-based workshops have been conducted, such as: digital photography, digital imaging, composition, and studio portrait conducted by outside advisors as well as experienced members.  Benefited by being located at the Greater Washington, DC areas, and close to the US National capital, club members takes frequent field trips to local historical parks, landmark buildings, as well as scenic spots.  The Club also conducts joint events and field trips with other local photo clubs.  On occasions, club members also organize distant field trips.

美京华人摄影社（CCACC Photo Club）简介

      美京华人摄影社由美京华人活动中心创始人之一李潮先生于2000年创立。多年来，在中心的大力支持和各届会长及理事们的努力下，影社茁壮成长，现已是大华府地区会员人数最多、最活跃的华人摄影社团之一。

     影社坚持高水平、高品位发展，活动丰富多彩，包括不定期的线上线下摄影讲座、会员作品点评、摄影比赛和户外采风。会员通过这些活动，不断学习和实践新的摄影理念和技术，从他人的作品中汲取灵感，提高自己的摄影水平，现已有多名会员在国际和各类摄影比赛中获奖。影社还多次在美京华人活动中心艺廊举办摄影展并出版了多期会员作品美篇，获得好评。

     影社利用大华府独特的地理位置，积极促进中美摄影文化交流，携手世界各地的摄影团体，组织并参与了多方面的摄影知识分享和摄影比赛，还多次参与了跨影社作品交流。自2021年加入马里兰州摄影联盟（Maryland Photography Alliance， MPA）以来，影社多次参加了MPA的摄影联赛，成绩名列前茅。影社还主办了2018年大华府四华人影社联展并参与了2023年MPA摄影展。

     美京华人摄影社不仅以影会友，而且以行动回馈社区。自成立以来，坚持无偿为社区各种庆祝活动拍摄照片和人像摄影，深受广大群众的欢迎。
