About Bill



Bill Hardwick is committed Conservative Republican and lifelong resident of Pulaski County, Missouri.

Serving in the military, he deployed as a Sapper Platoon Leader leading route clearance and counter-IED patrols in Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He continued to serve as an engineer officer in the Missouri National Guard and was activated for multiple state emergency operations and overseas humanitarian missions. During his military service, he has earned skill identifiers in electronic warfare and strategy. Bill is an Honor Graduate of the United States Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

Bill earned his bachelor’s degree and juris doctor from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. He was awarded Top Ten Oral Advocate his first year in law school and became the Associate Editor in Chief of the Missouri Law Review. During law school, Bill worked Cole County Prosecutor's Office and Department of Justice. During his third year in law school he worked as a legal clerk in the Missouri State Legislature. He previous served as the City Prosecutor for St. Robert and as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Pulaski County, Missouri where he tried criminal cases and represented the state of Missouri in civil hearings. He served as a civil, administrative and labor attorney and was a Special Assistant United States Attorney as a Department of Defense civilian.

Bill have been an adjunct professor for six years teaching courses in Criminal Law, Court Procedure, Business Management, Evidence, Administrative Law, Environmental Law and Corporate Ethics. Bill was elected to four terms as the Pulaski County Bar Association President.

In his spare time, Bill is an avid reader, and he enjoys hunting, fishing and carpentry. He lives with his wife, Teresa, and their four children in Waynesville, Missouri.
