Dark Soul

by

Gerard Quain

When the light goes out in my soul

My heart sinks and I arrive at the abyss

The haunted place, it's environment made by me

I created this dark place, with jealousy and deceit

As a child I danced gaily with me siblings

No sign then of who I was going to become

No demonic laughter to a give a sign

That I was going to be anything but benign

But time passed, as it does

I grew from spoiled child, to spoiled man

Obsessed by my vanity, and needing to own all

No one immune to my spite, and bile

So parents take heed of this warning

If you want your child to have integrity

Then, do not give in all his whim's

For spoiled boys , grow up to be, dark souled men

IF I Die Today

by

Gerard Quain

I stand alone

Fear the worst

Look at the hole

Remember it's not me

The reflection of history

A future made

Here I am laid

Lost for words, the throng

I must have done something wrong

I just lived until this day

But they cry

Why ?

The Spirit

by

Gerard Quain

Doesn't the spirit move you

Don't you want to sway

As the band plays louder

The dance floor gets more crowded

Doesn't the spirit move you

Don't you to sway

Blond Mary is my target

I have to take the chance

Please Mary will you dance

Tonight I am going to hold Mary

Tonight our spirit will move

Tonight we will sway
