Data Plates

Over the period 1959 to 1974, Ford Australia used various formats for their vehicle identification data. For the Galaxie model line, this also included Ford of Canada's data formats particularly betwen 1959 and 1964.

As we now have a mixture of original delivery vehicles, original imported vehciles, and later personal imports predominatly from the US, there are mulitple formats that the warranty/data plates appears in.

Also as the registry is for Australian located vehicles, I may ask for some confirmation of this before completing the registration for your car.
