We recently presented five posters at the All Scientist LTER meeting. We also co-organized a discussion group on fungal/bacterial environmental genomics at the  LTER meeting.

    Dexter Redenius and Winston Smith for their outstanding work in the lab and their multiple awards. Dexter and Winston are both 9th High                 School Freshmen from Southeastern High School in Augusta, IL

             *1st place at Culver Stockton Science Fair at Culver Stockton College, Canton Mo. 

            *1 st place at the Regional Science Fair - University of IL, Springfield and they were chosen to participate in the IL State Science Fair.

            *Gold rating in the IL State Science Fair at University of IL Assembly Hall in Champaign, IL.

            *Dexter also ran for a student position on the executive board for the IL. Junior Academy of Science and won. He will hold a chair position to coordinate next years Science Fair. 

            *Second place in the Regional FFA Science Fair. FFA= Future Farmers of America
