In the Beginning

and HERE IS THE WAY ...

IN THE BEGINNING - ALL VERY GOOD

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. ...

So God created man in His own Image,

in the Image of God He created him;

male and female He created them. ...

God saw all that He had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning - the sixth day. (Genesis 1:1,27,31)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was Life and that Life was the Light of men. (John 1:1-4)

SOBERING NEWS - ORIGIN OF DEATH;

GOOD NEWS - GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE

You will not surely die, the serpent said to the women. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

When the women saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some of it and ate it. She also gave some of it to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

(Genesis 3:4-6)

The LORD is near to all who call on Him,

to all who call on Him in truth.

He will fulfil the desire of those who fear Him;

He also will hear their cry, and will save them.

The LORD preserves all those who love Him,

but all the wicked He will destroy.

(Psalms 145:18-20)

For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him. He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believe in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husbands will, but born of God. (John 1:10-13)

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:16-17)

HOW GOD SAVES US

I tell you the truth, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. (John 5:24)

For everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved. How then, can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? (Romans 10:13-14)

... in the wisdom of God, the world, by [its] wisdom, knew not God. [So], it pleased God, by the foolishness of preaching to save those who [would] believe. ... Because the foolishness of God is wiser than [the wisdom of] men; and the weakness of God is stronger than [the strength of] men. ... that no flesh should glory in His Presence. But of Him, are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption; that, according as it is written, "He that glories, let him glory in the Lord." (1 Corinthians 1:21,25,29-31)

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed - not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence - continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose. (Philippians 2:12-13)

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us; by the washing of regeneration [rebirth] and renewing of the Holy Spirit. (Titus 2:5)

AND GOD IS FAITHFUL

My sheep hear My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand. (John 10:27-28)

No temptation has seized you accept what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

SO TRUST HIM, BELIEVE HIS PROMISES;

AND LOVE HIM, OBEY HIS COMMANDS

You did not choose Me, but I chose you to go and bear fruit - fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in My Name. This is my command: Love each other. (John 15:16-17)

Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from Him anything we ask, because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him. And this is His command: to believe in the Name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as He commanded us. (1 John 3:21-24)

He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the Name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life, [and so that you may continue to believe in the Name of the Son of God.] This is the assurance we have in approaching God, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of Him. (1 John 5:12-15)

AND PLEASE HIM;

HE WILL RICHLY REWARD YOU.

And without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that comes to God must believe that He is; and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. (Isaiah 2:4)

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. (Isaiah 11:6-9)

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you. Amen. (Romans 16:20)

And has made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (Revelation 1:6)

He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; he that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death. (Revelation 2:11)

Blessed and holy [is] he that takes part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6)

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (Revelation 20:14)

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers [porno lovers, fornicators, adulterers], and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: this is the second death. (Revelation 21:8)
