Amp-Aid is dedicated to making amplifiers work and sound better. Our products add new features and new tone capabilities to vintage tube amps like the Bassman and the Deluxe. There has been enormous progress in electronics since the vintage era. Amp-Aid believes that the musician and amp both benefit from using the best of all era technologies to produce the most capable hardware and richest tones possible.

Our first offering is for the 5F6A Bassman chassis, one of the most famous and widely used vintage amps. However, in the 50's and 60's the world was a different place and features like tremolo, reverb, and FX loops were not considered - or not invented yet. The first Amp-Aid product brings a high quality tremolo to the Bassman chassis. It's embedded in the chassis and works with the Bassman circuits to produce a bias tremolo that is second to none. Think of the Tremolux or Princeton - they're famous for their bias tremolo. The Amp-Aid BMTrem2 tremolo module produces a bias tremolo tone that the Bassman should become famous for. The missing piece of a 5F6A Bassman is a good spring reverb. The ReverbFX3 is exactly that - with a buffered FX loop and output tube bias controls. These three capabilities "complete" the 5F6A. Reverb is deep and strong, as in other vintage amps. A pedal on/off connection is provided. The FX loop is independent of the reverb, so echo or other effects are easily added. Bias controls are a common addition to the 5F6A, so the ReverbFX3 puts all these together and makes them easy to install and use. For more info, follow the link.

Here is how the board and its 24v power supply mount on the back side of a 5e3 chassis. Only the existing chassis holes are used. No new holes are needed.
