2014-October-09:

Greetings, All!

I'll be participating in another craft event this weekend in Foster, RI (USA), on US Route 6 (a.k.a. Danielson Pike), not far from the Scituate town line -- and this one only invites artisans and crafters! So you won't find any direct sales vendors (of mass-produced items usually sold in a home-party-plan setting where the seller earns a commission) or yard sale items here. It is a two-day event -- Saturday and Sunday, 2014-October-11&12 -- but I only have room on my schedule to set up for Saturday. From what I've heard so far, we expect the weather to be beautiful.

I've noticed something interesting over the past several events that I've attended: Personalized bookmarks are the most popular item at my booth -- especially among people whose name is either less common or spelled differently or in symbiotic combination with another. At Dodd Stadium a few weeks ago, I took three requests: Courtenay, Tessa, and Dawn/Lance. Everyone was pleased with their custom-made bookmarks. So if you or someone you know has a hard time finding personalized items, try me out. Dare Me! If I fail at turning your request into an ambigram, I'll give you a $3 discount toward your purchase of anything else at my booth -- that's equal to two ready-made Scripture Art or "Bookmark" bookmarks! -- but if I succeed I'll give you $1 off your purchase. Mention my newsletter or website when making your purchase to ask for yet another $1 discount.

Have a Great Day!

Rebecca May
