I am interested in analyzing and potentially participating in technology start-ups. For example, in 1997, under the supervision of Prof. Jones from M.I.T., I developed a computer model to review the financial, legal and technical feasibility of an electronic funds ATM/Point-of-Sale network for Sarajevo. The study was supported by a large grant from the United States Trade and Development Agency in Washington D.C. (see USTDA research study #97744). In 1999, the findings of this study led to the establishment of the first national EFT/POS and credit card processing center (Bamcard d.o.o.) in Bosnia & Herzegovina (BiH) and VISA processing certification was subsequently accomplished.
