• Christian, with a mild interest in learning about some other religious beliefs.
• As of 1 May 2011 I am a member of a small Lutheran church. YAY! :))

I also struggle with depression. Why do I point this out? Because people need to know that there IS help available if you're willing to accept it. Contrary to some misguided people's beliefs, depression is a very real and very serious illness. (Note that I'm not talking about the blues that everyone goes through. I'm talking about the serious form of depression that lasts for an extended period of time.) Medicines are available to help people get through these difficult times and therapy is available to help people get their thoughts under control. It isn't wrong to accept the help that is available.

I also like linux. At this time, the distribution that I use is Ubuntu. Why do I use linux? Well, it's simple really. It costs nothing for me to obtain. It comes with software to do everything I need to do and want to do. And it works very well on the older computer that I have.

If you want me to use something other than linux, then there is only one way that you can get that to happen... provide the hardware and software that I need to do the things that I do. If you aren't willing to do that then shut up and let me use that which I am able to obtain. Because frankly, I'm just not interesting in hearing about how much better something else is or how much better something else works when I don't have the means to obtain it.
