Requirements for research guidance
Students who want be advised primarily by me for their master thesis are required to take
credits of courses mentioned below.
1. Students at Course of Studies of Contemporary Economy
1.1 Students who plan to advance to the doctoral program.
(1) Microeconomics I, II, (2) Macroeconomics I, II, and (3) Econometrics I, II. These
requirements are applied regardless of which doctoral program course you plan to advance to.
Applicants who entered the school in April are required to have earned credits of
Microeconomics I and Macroeconomics I and those who entered the school in September
are required to have earned credits of Microeconomics II and Macroeconomics II
at the point when they apply for research guidance.
1.2 Students who do not plan to advance to the doctoral program.
(1) Microeconomics I, II, which may be replaced by Microeconomics offered by Graduate
School of Public Policy, (2) Macroeconomics I, II, which may be replaced by Graduate School
of Public Policy, and (3) Econometrics I, II, which may be replaced by Econometrics offered by
Graduate School of Public Policy. Applicants who entered the school in April are required to
have earned credits of Microeconomics I and Macroeconomics I and those who entered
the school in September are required to have earned credits of Microeconomics II
and Macroeconomics II at the point when they apply for research guidance.
2. Students at Course of Economic History
2.1 Students who plan to advance to the doctoral program.
(1) Microeconomics I, II, which may be replaced by Microeconomics offered by Graduate
School of Public Policy, (2) Macroeconomics I, II, which may be replaced by Graduate School
of Public Policy, and (3) Econometrics I, II, which may be replaced by Econometrics offered by
Graduate School of Public Policy. Applicants are required to have earned credits of
Microeconomics I and Macroeconomics I at the point when they apply for research guidance.
2.2 Students who do not plan to advance to the doctoral program.
(1) Microeconomics I, II, which may be replaced by Microeconomics offered by Graduate
School of Public Policy, (2) Macroeconomics I, II, which may be replaced by Graduate School
of Public Policy, and (3) Econometrics I, II, which may be replaced by Econometrics offered by
Graduate School of Public Policy. Applicants are required to have earned credits of
Microeconomics I and Macroeconomics I at the point when they apply for research guidance.
