parent letter

May 23, 2022

Dear Parents,

I can’t believe that we are already at the end of the school year! This year really flew by. Thanks for all your support throughout the year and especially for your prayers and understanding these past 2 months. I will truly miss this class! We’ve had some ups and downs, but (aside from being very talkative) they have been wonderful to work with and that is a reflection on your good parenting.

Please make sure that your child continues to do some review over the summer so he/she will be ready to resume his/her learning in the fall without any learning loss. If you’d like resources to use just let me know.

I do have a couple reminders for you. This year report cards will not be sent home on the final day of school. Instead they will be available for you to pick up at the school office starting on June 1. You should’ve received information about free summer meals that are available to any child in the district. They will serve both breakfast and lunch at no cost to anyone age 18 or younger. If you have any questions you can call Sleepy Eye Public School at 794-7903.

Tomorrow we’ll be heading out for our picnic at Kiefer Park at around 11:30 or 12:00. The students need a lunch including something to drink. Also if your child would like to play tennis, baseball/softball, or basketball at the park he/she should bring necessary equipment such as gloves, rackets, balls etc.

Once again thank you for all your support. Have a great summer and God bless you!

Mrs. Krambeer
