About Mrs. Young

My name is Megan Young and I am a 5th grade teacher here at Cherry Chase. My very favorite parts of the year at Cherry Chase are Science Camp and Walk-a-Thon. For my undergraduate degree, I attended UC Davis, where I studied Human Development. I stayed at Davis to obtain my teaching credential and master's degree. As a teacher, I wish to give every child the chance to discover and cultivate their own strengths.

Some of my favorite things outside of school are (in no particular order): my family (I have a one year old son!), reading, Survivor, running, animals, tea, my friends, science podcasts, and Animal Crossing.
