Art 3
In this class you will be creating more advanced and challenging art in a variety of mediums- practicing new and old techniques and processes. We will continue to explore how the elements and principles can be used to create a strong composition but also explore how art can convey a message and impact the viewer. There will be emphasis on art history and critique throughout the year as well as reflection and discussion. A sketchbook will be used again this year to improve and practice skill while keeping track of new and creative ideas. Art presentation and preparation for display will also be reviewed and practiced as well as time management and goal setting.
