Robot Garden is a member based organization. You don't need to be a member to attend most of our meetings, classes and other activities. But, if you want regular independent access to our tools, fabrication equipment and workspace, you need to join as a member.

Because we are a 100% volunteer run organization, we also provide a means for supporters to help us grow our programs and provide our unique STEM activities to the larger community - including local youth programs.

Membership Info - Join Us!

Join us! Sign up for a monthly membership for 24/7/365 access to our equipment, supplies and tools at the Livermore Municipal Airport (LVK) and our other locations. We have several membership tiers to suit various needs.

$25/mo -- Student, Mentor & Retiree Membership

$40/mo -- Group, Troop & Team Membership (Girl Scout, Boy Scout, 4H, hobby clubs, etc)

$50/mo -- Individual Membership (50% discount available for volunteers*)

$80/mo -- Family Membership (50% discount available for volunteers*)

$100/mo -- Sustaining Membership - for members wishing to contribute more each month

$150/mo -- Business Membership - for businesses using RG resources on a regular basis

You must be 18 years or older to be a Robot Garden member. Youth are allowed to use our facilities and equipment only under adult supervision.

Group, Troop & Team Memberships are for STEM related youth organizations and hobby groups who would benefit from use of our space and other resources. This membership tier provides access for two adult leaders. These two adult leaders have the "primary membership" for the group, troop or team and are then responsible for managing access to Robot Garden resources.

If you are an adult mentor for one of the Girl Scout, Boy Scout, 4-H or other youth programs we host, support and sponsor, you are eligible for a discounted individual membership for $25/month. This provides you with 24/7/365 access to our resources separate from the two adult leaders with the primary membership.

Note that membership is not required to attend most of our meetings and events - including our Safety & Basic Use (SBU) equipment classes or our Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings. However, membership is required to independently access our facilities and use our equipment.

* Volunteer discounts are available to individuals who commit to running classes & programs and/or maintaining fabrication equipment. Leaders and mentors for youth groups we support qualify for this discount.
