Creating Assessments

Creating an assessment in AWARE allows the teacher to create an assessment with questions from pre-loaded item banks in AWARE. This is mainly used when a teacher does not have an external source to draw questions. A test booklet and answer document can be given. This assessment can also be taken online. Questions that have passages or graphs or visual aids will be displayed on the left of the screen, and questions and answers will be displayed on the right. Students will be able to log into AWARE Online Testing portal to access assessments.



Creating a Quick Test Key allows the teacher to create an assessment with questions from an external source and not found in the question bank in AWARE. Examples of an external source include questions from a textbook, a workbook, teacher created, etc. This is mainly used when a teacher wants quick grading and summary data results. An answer document is only available for printing, no test booklet. When entering online, a list of question numbers and answer bubbles are visible, like a digital version of the answer document,
