Art Highlights

Self - Portraits

In Art class with Ms. Gatoff, students start the school year off in September and finish the school year off in June creating their self - portraits (drawings of themselves). This June, students created their self-portraits from home. Take a look and see who you can recognize!

Portraits of Mr. Mulhall

Our Assistant Principal Mr. Mulhall will be moving this summer and has taken an Assistant Principal position at an elementary school in Massachusetts. We want him to know how much we appreciate what he's done for our school and how much we're going to miss him so the little artists at PS 307 have created portraits of him. Enjoy!!!

Recreate Works of Art Challenge

PS 307 artists and staff members were inspired by an art challenge that originated from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and then revamped by the Getty Museum in California. We recreated works of art using anything and anyone at home in quarantine. Check out our models, producers, prop managers and photographers work!!!

Letters to First Responders

While most of us are home during this scary, sad and weird time, all First Responders are working long hours and doing very difficult work to help everyone of all ages in our city who are sick with Covid-19 (Coronavirus). The artists of PS 307 made thank you cards for First Responders for selflessly dedicating all their effort to keep us and our families safe.

Rainbow Project

The PS 307 community is adding a bit of color in such a dark time by joining the worlds morale by creating rainbows to spread hope. We are staying positive and seeing that after every storm comes a rainbow.
