  • Notice of Determination will be distributed by June 5, 2020

What will you need?

  • Completed Application: verify all boxes and signatures are completed by both student applicant at parent/guardian
  • Exemplary Writing Sample: Be prepared to submit a 500-word exemplary writing sample.
  • Academic Recommendation: name and email only

Academic Criteria

READING LEVEL: A student’s reading level will also indicate levels of motivation, study habits, and willingness to engage in the learning process. In order to be eligible for this program, students’ reading levels should reflect these factors.

GRADES: Student grades demonstrate motivation to learn, study habits, and a willingness to engage with teachers in the learning process. These factors are very important as they set the foundation for a successful program. In order to be eligible for this program, each student’s grades must reflect these factors.

MATH LEVEL: A student’s math level will also indicate levels of motivation, study habits, and willingness to engage in the learning process. In order to be eligible for this program, students’ reading levels should reflect these factors.

ATTENDANCE: The students’ attendance in an early college high program is very important. Coming to school every day is mandatory and a major part of the success of every student in the program. In order to be eligible for this pilot program, each student’s current attendance record must be in good standing.

DISCIPLINE: Students’ good behavior in an early college high school program is expected and required. In order to be eligible for this program, each student’s current disciplinary record must be in good standing.
