Episode Two - Faces Of Pennridge - Allyson Kearney

On the second episode of Faces Of Pennridge, Tom has the honor of sitting down with Allyson Kearney!

Allyson Kearney teaches Chemistry at Pennridge High School.

She truly cares about her students and has been instrumental in including all students in the lessons about chemistry and life.

Mrs. Kearney will do whatever it takes to make sure her students succeed. 

Faces Of Pennridge - Episode 3 - Lisa Amary

Meet Lisa Amary, a first grade teacher at Seylar Elementary. 

The energy she brings to the classroom, her love for her students and her collaborative approach, enhance her effectiveness as an educator. 

She is truly an asset to the Pennridge School District!

Faces Of Pennridge - Episode 4 - Erin Reichert

In the fourth episode of Faces of Pennridge, Tom had the honor of sitting down with Erin Reichert. 

Erin has served the Pennridge School District as a teacher, technology integrator and currently as an instructional coach.  She is a valuable resource to administrators, principals, teachers and students alike!   

Her enthusiasm is contagious and she is a great role model for all.

Faces Of Pennridge - Episode 5 - David Tam

In Episode 5 of Faces of Pennridge, Tom sits down with David Tam.

David has been with Pennridge School District for over 20 years. He is a teacher at North Middle School. David teaches with passion and enthusiasm. 

He truly enjoys having a positive impact on others.

Faces Of Pennridge - Episode 6 - Krista Rush

Krista Rush is ‘true Pennridge’! She attended Grasse, South Middle School and Pennridge HS. After graduating from Kutztown, she returned to the district where she has been a teacher for 26 years! She currently teaches 1st grade at Guth. 

Krista knew from early on she wanted to be a teacher. Her passion and enthusiasm for teaching are contagious. Her instincts at a young age were spot on!

Faces Of Pennridge - Episode 7 - Kyle Jerrom

In this episode, Kyle Jerrom joins Tom. 

Kyle taught at the high school for 18 years. An elementary level opening provided him the opportunity to make a pivot in his career. He’s now in his 22nd year as an educator here in the Pennridge School District. 

An important part of Kyle’s day is getting to know all of his students. His hope is to be remembered as ‘the one who looked out for all of his kids’. No doubt this will be the case!

Faces Of Pennridge - Episode 8 - Kim Reese

In this episode, Tom talks with high school math teacher, Kim Reese. 

Pivoting early on in her professional career is ultimately what led her to fulfilling her desire to be a teacher. Kim is currently in her 25th year teaching in Pennridge! 

Listen on as Kim shares what led her to a career in teaching and why she enjoys working with teenagers.

Faces Of Pennridge - Episode 9 - Tracee Myers

Join in as Tom talks to 4th grade teacher, Tracee Myers. She’s been teaching for 19 years with 15 of those in Pennridge at Diebler.

Tracee’s major in college was to be a Guidance Counselor. She enjoyed student teaching so much, she went on to get her masters in teaching after graduating! The rest is history!

Creating such an impact on a student that they want to pursue a career in teaching is one of many ways she wants to be remembered.

Faces Of Pennridge - Episode 10 - Jennifer May

Tom had the opportunity to talk to Jennifer May, 4th grade teacher at Bedminster Elementary. 

Jennifer has been teaching in Pennridge for 33 years having spent the past 15 years at Bedminster.

The connections she has made throughout the years with both students and families give her great joy. Her wishes are for her students to know she cares about them and feel they are part of a community. Above all, she wants students to have fun while learning in her classroom.

Listen in as Devin Gorman, 5th grade teacher at Sellersville Elementary, shares with Tom how he came to be a teacher in Pennridge as well as how he wants his students to remember him.

Join in as Tom talks to Amy Jankowitsch, first grade teacher at West Rockhill. She is finishing up her fifth year of teaching in Pennridge.

Amy brings enormous passion, enthusiasm and joy. Safe to say, students will look back with fond memories of their time spent in her classroom.
