FIRST Lego Leagues @ NPSC!
The Nipissing-Parry Sound CDSB is proud to support FIRST Lego League teams across our schools for the upcoming seasons!
While they are called FIRST Lego 'leagues', they are not set up like a typical sports league where children are added to an existing team. Teams generally start up at schools or through engaged parents.

FIRST Lego League Jr.
ENABLING DISCOVERY
Through exploratory research, hands-on construction, teamwork, and imagination, FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. challenges teams of up to six children to explore a scientific concept, then build a model and code it to make it move using LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0. They also develop a Show Me Poster to illustrate their journey of discovery.

FUELING CURIOSITY
FIRST® LEGO® League gives teams of up to 10 students the chance to research a real-world challenge, then innovate and develop their own solution through designing, building, and coding LEGO® MINDSTORMS® robots to perform autonomous “missions” on a playing field.
