Past Projects

Listed below are some examples of service projects that the club has organized, but there are plenty of others! And, as explained on the home page- we are open to all student ideas too!

For the past several years NMS Community Service Club has successful collected nonperishable food items for the Cupboard of Kindness

We have also been able to help local senior citizens who are no longer able to maintain their lawns as the seasons turn for the past two years. Each year, this day becomes one of volunteers best memories! It typically takes place on a Saturday or Sunday in early November.

Additionally, the club has been able to raise funds for Pennies for Patients- an organization that provides funds for families of children suffering with Leukemia and Lymphoma. Typically the school does an outstanding job with this task and has even received state recognition in the past!

We have also partnered with Project 351 in the past two years to complete several projects, including clothing drives for Cradles to Crayons, which seeks to collect gently used clothing items for kids aged 0-12.
