Who is eligible for tuition reimbursement?

Under NEFEC's current agreement with the Florida Department of Education, non-profit private school teachers and leaders are eligible to request reimbursement for tuition through NEFEC. Teachers must be traditional classroom teachers, coded/paid as regular teachers. School leaders include principals, assistant principals, and any individuals fitting the ESSA definition of a school leader. Specialized support personnel do not qualify.

Reimbursement is available upon successful completion of the college course, and a participant must provide a transcript verifying successful completion, as well as a receipt(s) showing initial tuition payment. Non-endorsement college courses are not eligible for reimbursement.
