After receiving my degree in English from Valparaiso University, I came to Bloomington to do graduate work in medieval theater. I came back to Bloomington in 2006 to settle with my family and went back school for my master's in language education. I am currently working on a Ph.D. in Arts Education. My wife, a speech language pathologist at The Project School and Brown County Schools, and I have and four children, Kieran, 22, Liam, 18, Aidan, 8, and Lochlan, 4. Away from school, I am an avid runner, cyclist, actor, reader, traveler, musician, writer, handyman, cook, and chauffeur to the many activities of my many children.
