Hi! I am the full-time Speech-Language Pathologist at Newton. This is my fifth year with this school and district. I work with a great team here!
I grew up in Dallas, TX, before receiving my B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the UT Austin. I received my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern State University. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology at Rocky Mountain University!
At Newton, I work with students on various communication skills, such as articulation, receptive/expressive language, AAC usage, fluency and social skills. I love collaborating with the OT, other SLP, school psychologists, and teachers at the school.
A few of my favorites include pizza, tacos, and my dog, Dakota! Come see me any time in my office, room 1305!
Hi! I am the Occupational Therapist at Newton Middle School and Gaskill Elementary School This is my second year with LPS and my fifth as an occupational therapist. I am excited to be part of this amazing community!
I grew up in Lakewood, CO and am a Colorado native. I received my B.S. in Psychology from University of Colorado Denver and my M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY (basically Canada!).
As an Occupational Therapist in the schools, I provide support to help students participate in daily school activities, both academic and non-academic. I provide assessment, intervention, and consultation in a variety of areas to facilitate student success in the classroom.
I am an avid sports fan and love the Denver Broncos. I am also a self proclaimed nerd and love most fandoms (Marvel, Doctor Who, Star Wars, etc.) Another passion of mine is coaching girls softball, which I have been doing for 16 years. Please feel free to come visit me in Room 1304! I look forward to meeting you and having a great school year!
