Hi! I am the full-time Speech-Language Pathologist at Newton. This is my sixth year with this school and district. I work with a great team here!
I grew up in Dallas, TX, before receiving my B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the UT Austin. I received my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern State University. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology at Rocky Mountain University!
At Newton, I work with students on various communication skills, such as articulation, receptive/expressive language, AAC usage, fluency and social skills. I love collaborating with the OT, other SLP, school psychologists, and teachers at the school.
A few of my favorites include tacos, cold brew, and my baby, Ollie! Come see me any time in room 1305!
Hi! I am the Occupational Therapist at Newton Middle School. This is my sixth year with LPS and as an occupational therapist. I am excited to be part of this amazing community!
I grew up in Fishers, IN. I received my B.S. in Kinesiology from Miami University in Ohio and my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Ohio State University - go Buckeyes!
As an Occupational Therapist in the schools, I provide support to help students participate in daily school activities, both academic and non-academic. I provide assessment, intervention, and consultation in a variety of areas to facilitate student success in the classroom.
I love all things outdoors, music, cooking, and of course spending time with my family and friends. Please feel free to come visit me in Room 1304! I look forward to a great school year!
