Elementary Student Accounts

Students use the Internet daily during a normal school day to access material and activities from their teachers. The Lockhart ISD Clever portal is the launching pad for almost all online resources that are used by most students. The list below describes the purpose and the login information for each one.

Clever

Clever is an easy way for students to access all of their instructional programs. Students use their Google account to sign into the Clever Portal.

Google District (K-5)

The recommended browser is Google Chrome. Lockhart ISD students and staff use Google for Education during the normal school day. Students access accounts and websites at school with Google Chrome. Click here for directions on how to install Google Chrome on your home computer.

If you have Google Chrome installed on home computers, please let students sign into Google Chrome and link/sync data at home. The student's bookmarks and other personalized settings will then be available at home.

Google - Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Drawing, Sites and Classroom (K-5)

Google Classroom is used in grades 3-5 and in some grades K-2. Google Classroom is the learning management system used to push out assignments to students.

Google Drive is where student work is saved.

Google Docs is a word processing application used to type text or paragraphs of information.

Google Slides is a presentation application used to present information.

Google Sheets is a spreadsheet application used to create charts and graphs and to display data.

Google Drawing is a drawing application.

Google Sites is a application used to create websites.

IStation - (PK-5)

Istation is the language arts program all students use in PK-5. Click here for information about the program and tech support from Istation. Students use the Clever portal to sign in.

DreamBox - (K-5)

DreamBox is the math program all students use in grades K-5. Students use the Clever portal to sign in.

Dreambox Login

Renaissance Learning - (K-5)

Renaissance Learning is a reading comprehension program and math program. Student take Accelerated Reader (AR) quizzes after reading a book. Students use the Clever portal to sign in.

Reflex Math - (2-5)

Reflex Math is a program for students to practice addition/subtraction skills and multiplication/division skills for grades 2-5. Students use the Clever portal to sign in.

Seesaw (K-5)

Seesaw is a way for teachers and students to record and share what is happening in the classroom. Students use the Clever portal to sign in.

Discovery Education (K-5)

Discovery Education is used for online educational videos. Students use the Clever portal to sign in.

EBSCO eBooks (PK-5)

EBSCO eBooks is a resource for online e-books for students to read.

Research and Interactive Activities - Britannica Online, National Geographic, Kids InfoBits, SIRS Discoverer, Learn360 (PK-5)

Lockhart ISD subscribes to a variety of research and interactive websites. All students in the district have access to these resources.

Epic! (PK-5)

Epic! is a resource for online e-books. Individual classroom teachers set up their own accounts for the students. Contact teacher for classroom account information.

Other Accounts (PK-5)

Almost all other accounts will use the student's Google sign in
