About the Teacher

Welcome! Ms. D'Abreu has been teaching 1st grade at Bowman for 2 years and is looking forward to more years in this wonderful school community! She completed her graduate and undergraduate degrees at Tufts University (B.S. in psychology, B.A. in child development, and M.A.T. in early childhood education). In her college days, she enjoyed playing rugby, doing jiu jitsu, and creating art. These days, she likes to do kickboxing, create art with clay, and explore all that Boston has to offer. She was born in England and is very connected to her Trinidadian roots (her parents and extended family are from Trinidad and Tobago).
