Ms. Hennessy graduated from George Mason University in 1998, receiving a BS in Health and Physical Education K-12.  She was born and raised in Fairfax, VA. and graduated from W.T Woodson HS.  

Prior to joining the Harmony team, she taught in Fairfax County. This will be her 10th year teaching Health and Physical Education at Harmony MS.  She is eager to meet her students, learn and grow from her colleagues and is passionate about instilling the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, maximizing her student's talents, skill and abilities.  Outside of school and education, she enjoys being outdoors, travelling, spending time with her family; she has four children, Three in College (Nursing school, Senior, VMI, Senior, VCU, Sophmore) and one in High School (Junior).
