Mrs. Hillebrand, 7th Grade English

Jodi Hillebrand graduated from Radford University in May of 99' with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. When she graduated, Jodi moved to Loudoun after she was married. Mrs. Hillebrand was hired at Hillside Elementary and worked there for five great years. During her teaching career at Hillside, Jodi furthered her education at George Mason University to obtain a Master of Education degree in Special Education and graduated in May of 04'. Mrs. Hillebrand moved to Lovettsville and taught at Lovettsville Elementary for 12 years as a 4th and 5th grade teacher. This will be her seventh year at Harmony teaching 7th Grade English and her twenty-fourth year teaching.

Staying Informed

I post my assignments and class announcements through my Schoology classes. Please check there frequently for assignments, announcements, and other important information. Students can find access their courses through the Schoology app in LCPSGo.

Parents are able to see each of their child's classes, including assignments, calendars, and notices. There is a link to Schoology in Phoenix.

Phoenix is the official grade book for all Loudoun County Public Schools. My grade book will be updated weekly. ParentVue


NOTE: If you are experiencing issues with your student chromebook or your password, please contact the Technology Support Center (571-252-2112), M-F, 7:30am-5pm, for remote help as much as possible (i.e. passwords, account access, etc).

Devices

Depending on the assignment, I use a mixture of high technology (example: chromebook) and low technology (Example: paper and pencil). Students should follow LCPS guidelines for appropriate use and Digital Citizenship when using personal devices or those issued by LCPS.
