World Languages

Señora McCarthy began her love of the Spanish language while in high school and traveled to Spain as a foreign exchange student to further her studies. She is a proud graduate of James Madison University with a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in Latin American Studies. Señora McCarthy is certified to teach PreK - 12th grade and has taught Exploratory Spanish through Spanish IV at both the high school and middle school levels. She looks forward to teaching her students the exciting perspectives of the Spanish Speaking World!
