Background Information:

My husband, Chris, and I are from the Twin Cities and now live in Mantorville with our two sons, Elliot (4 years) and Austin (6 years). We enjoy spending time as a family exploring the outdoors and introducing our sons to new adventures. This summer, both of our boys excelled in sports as they played t-ball and baseball. They also became their own versions of fish as they loved swimming, jumping off the diving board, and even some ski and knee boarding. We are a family on the move and often pack up our minivan and head out on adventures together,  whether it's up north for cabin fun or to parks, pools and trails to enjoy the summer sunshine.

My teaching career began in the fall of 2001 after graduating from the University of MN at Morris. I’ve had a variety of opportunities to teach and coach students in many areas and grade levels. I have experience teaching grades 1-6; in Minnesota and Colorado. coaching middle school volleyball, mentoring parent volunteers within my classroom, tutoring students in need of support in literacy and helping with after school and summer programs. When I began at KM Schools in 2016, I was one of the ADSIS intervention teachers who helped to support students in reading and math. During the last three years, I taught fourth grade literacy and social studies. I am thrilled to be joining the middle school this year and am eager to work with familiar and new students to help them achieve success in literacy and math.
