Kāneʻohe Site Rules
Student Expectations
All students who are enrolled in the Kāneʻohe Kamaʻāina Kids after school program must report directly to A+ immediately after school.
Students are expected to treat everyone (other students and staff) with respect. Physical, verbal or emotional abuse will NOT be tolerated.
Students are to be respectful of their surroundings.
All students will be expected to do their homework in A+ during their designated study hall times. If homework is completed before study hall is over, students will be given the option to do ONLY quiet activities (read, color, draw, etc). If you do not want your child to do his/her homework at A+, please provide us with a letter stating so.
All students are expected to comply with Kāneʻohe Elementary School’s rules, in addition to Kamaʻāina rules.
Parent Expectations
If your child is going to be absent from A+, it is the parents’ responsibility to call/ text the site cell phone (808-445-1654) to report their child’s absence.
Payment is due on the 1st day of every month. There is a $5 day late fee for late payments. After the 5th A+ day, your child may be terminated from A+.
We close at 5:30 pm every day. If you are going to be late picking your child up, please call to inform us. The late pick-up fee is $5 for every 15 minutes you are late, per child. It is due upon pick up.
Consequences
If any of the students violate any of the A+ and/ or Kāneʻohe Elementary School rules, they will be subject to the following consequences:
1st offense: verbal warning
2nd offense: written warning (Student Disciplinary Report) and possible A+ suspension.
3rd offense: suspension or possible termination from A+ program
**Disciplinary action may vary per the Site Coordinator’s discretion.**
