Nutrition:
Please read the following blog written by Coach Cisneros about nutrition.
There are many approaches to hydration and replenishing of lost electrolytes and trace minerals. Here are two suggestions:
Daily water consumption = .5 oz per pound of body weight. For example, a 150 lb athlete would drink 75 oz water daily. Earlier in the day is best. Slowly consumed and not gulped in big quantities.
Training consumption = Total body weight divided by 30. Use that number in ounces and drink that much water every 15 minutes during training. For example, a 150 lb athlete would drink 5 oz every 15 minutes of training.
