Welcome to Buckman SUN! Our SUN Community School (Schools Uniting Neighborhoods) program supports the Buckman community by offering educationally enriching after-school classes; community gatherings; culturally affirming engagement events; life skills classes for caregivers; and social support coordination for students and families. Buckman's SUN program is a collaboration of Multnomah County Department of County Human Services, Impact Northwest, and Portland Public Schools.

Last day of Spring SUN is June 7th. Keep an eye out for SUN Showcase invitations.
General registration for Summer '24 will open online on June 4 at 7am. The course catalog is available on our "After-School Schedule" tab on this website. The term will run from Jul 8- Aug 1. If you are in need of special accommodations for your child to be safe and successful at SUN, or if you need scholarship assistance, contact Clara.
Summer SUN offers programs for KINDERGARTEN! During the school year, SUN offers after school programs for 1st-5th grade, but in the summer we are able to support kindergarten students, also! Check out our offerings in the Summer SUN Catalog.
