One Short Week until our Open House. I'm so excited to meet my new students for this year.

Hello, my name is Ms. Umlauft and I’m going to be your child’s second grade teacher! This will be my 19th year at Holy Spirit School. I taught first grade when I first came to Holy Spirit. I then switched to second grade and then I taught six years in Kindergarten. This is my third year back in second grade. I am super excited about all the exploring, learning and growing towards Jesus and the fun we get to have together.

I grew up in Sherwood, WI. I currently live there still today with my mother. I have two older brothers. One also lives in Sherwood with his family and the other lives in Slinger, WI with his family. I will be sharing many stories about my two nieces and two nephews with your children.

During the summer, I love to take trips. In the past summers, I have been able to visit Washington DC, New York, Virginia, Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas. This summer I took a trip to Mackinac Island in Michigan. One of my goals in my travels is to visit as many of the Presidential Museums and Libraries as I can. So far, I have been able to visit President Lincoln’s, President Hoover’s, President Truman’s, and President Eisenhower's Museums.
