Qualifying schools may contact Cherish Hermes, Special Education Director at 254-582-3814, to learn more about the federally funded services available for eligible residents. A meeting will take place on August 23, 2023 at the Hill County Shared Services Arrangement building at 200 Line Street, Hillsboro, TX 76645.

The Texas Transition and Employment Guide can help students with disabilities to plan for adult life. You can begin planning while students are still in school. Use this guide to find out what to expect and where to find help.

This service is to assist local district and charter school special education personnel in providing a free, appropriate public education to all students with special needs. Federal and state laws and regulations are emphasized in this process.
