About Me

About Mrs. Savic

I was born and raised in Merrill, Wisconsin. I received my undergrad from Concordia University Wisconsin in 1991 with a degree in Secondary Business Education. I received my Master's Degree in Education from Aurora University in 1999. I also received my Computer Science licensure through Alverno College in 1996.

My first teaching job was in Waukegan, IL, where I taught Bookkeeping, Keyboarding, and Programming at Waukegan High School for two years. While at the high school, I coached the freshman girl's basketball team. I then moved to the Waukegan Career Academy, a school for at-risk youth, and taught a Computer Applications course to Sophomores. During my time there I started and coached the boy's basketball team as well as served on many state committees regarding Career Education.

In 1995 I left Waukegan, moved to Sussex and began teaching at Templeton Middle School. While there I taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade computer courses as well as coached girl's basketball, boy's basketball and track. I also served as co-athletic director for the school.

In 2005 I moved from the middle school to the high school and currently teach Personal Finance, Computer Programming, Video Game Programming, and Computer Applications.

I also teach Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Business Presentation Software courses part-time at Waukesha County Technical College.

I enjoy going fishing, beading, and scrapbooking in my spare time.

My younger sister and three nieces live in Appleton. My father still resides in Merrill.

My husband, Dan, and I enjoy fishing, traveling and hiking.
