Academic Decathlon
A fun and exciting way to learn about different cultures in different eras of society. You will compete in interviewing, speeches and academics. Academic and grade level have no effect on joining the team as all levels and ages are welcome. Come join our team and meet new people and have a great time! The Apollo Cultural Awareness Club is open to all students looking to learn about different cultures and make friends. We attend festivals in town and participate in the art, music and food exhibits. We have potlucks where we try making different foods and sharing new cuisines. We encourage all Apollo students to come to a meeting and make new friends. Environmental Awareness
Environmental Awareness
The purpose of the club is to create awareness of environmental issues, such as protection, conservation, with an emphasis on educating and empowering students. The primary focus over the past year has been re-implementing recycling on campus. Students who are interested in environmental advocacy and awareness are encouraged to join. Gamers Club
Gamers Club meets Tuesdays and Thursdays with Mr. Yard after school in the media center. We play card, board, role playing, and video games. Bring your own system or play with ours on the big screen! For Dungeons & Dragons, contact Mr. Reynoso.

LGBTQ and Ally Club
The Apollo LGBTQ and Ally Club is designed to bring awareness and acceptability surrounding sexual orientation and gender identity. We work to foster a sense of inclusiveness in the Apollo community and to eliminate hate language on campus, participating in events on and off campus in an effort to make all students feel welcome and safe. The National Honor Society (NHS) elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Apollo's Delphi chapter is made up of invited juniors and seniors who meet GPA and class rank requirements. Last year, NHS students completed over 1,600 hours of service to the school and local community. Contact Ms. Carmack or Ms. Lovell for more information.
