About Ms. Wilkinson

My name is Kenya Wilkinson.  I am the eighth-grade mathematics teacher for our team!

I received my bachelor’s degree in education from Clemson University.  After spending the first 32 years of my life in South Carolina, I relocated to Delaware where I remained for 18 years. While living in Delaware, I attended the University of Delaware and earned my master’s degree in Educational Leadership. 

I have twenty-three years of teaching experience in middle-level mathematics.  Twenty-one of those twenty-three years have been spent teaching eighth grade.  I look forward to the opportunity to enlighten more young minds with math.

I am a mother of three adult children--two sons and a daughter.  Both of my sons serve in the military. My youngest son is a Marine stationed at Twenty-Nine Palms in California.  My eldest son is in the Delaware Army National Guard.  My daughter is the youngest of my three children.  She and her husband live in a suburb north of Boston.  She works as an Assistant Project Manager for a construction firm in Boston.  Her husband drives a public transportation bus.  In addition to my three children, I also have two granddaughters--ages 11 and 7.  My eldest granddaughter lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota and my youngest lives in New Castle, Delaware.
