YABA: The year long reading program that highlights the SC Top Young Adult Books of the Year. Students must read and log at least 3 books by Jan 31st to be eligible to participate.

Quarterly Reading Program: Students who read can earn points to win experiences and prizes.

- YABA Books - 5 pts each
- Fiction Books - 3 pts each
- Nonfiction Novel - 3 pts each
- Nonfiction Books - 2 pts each
- Manga, Graphic Novels, & Comic Books - 1 pt each

In a 9 Week period:
In a 9 Week period:
Earn 10 points in a nine weeks and you will receive a sweet treat. You can earn this treat for the end of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd nine-weeks
Earn 15 or more points in a nine weeks and your name will be entered into a drawing for a free book. Your name will be entered for each 3 pts over 15.
In a Semester: (1st and 2nd quarter or 2nd and 3rd quarter)

Earn 20 points in a semester and you will receive a sweet treat and lunch on Mrs. Brundage.
Earn 30 points in a semester and your name will be entered into a drawing for a special reading basket of prizes. You can earn more entries by reading more books. For every 3 pts you earn over 30, your name will be entered.
