Step 2: Complete Registration Forms 

Grade level registration forms can be found under the Helpful Documents section of this page. Once completed, please email to Marianne Childers (email above) or deliver to the school after step one is complete.

Mission & Vision

The mission of the Wade Hampton High School Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive, data-driven program that focuses on maximizing the academic, social/emotional, and college & career goals for each student in our diverse student body. As advocates, school counselors engage and cultivate intentional relationships with  students, families, staff and the community. The counseling program also seeks to enhance access to meaningful educational and career opportunities for all students. We strengthen our school’s culture of excellence by expecting the personal best from our students. In a diverse and ever-changing world, our school community of equity will “Educate, Inspire, and Empower” all graduates to be responsible, productive, and well-rounded citizens 

At Wade Hampton High School, School Counselors view all students as capable, productive citizens who can lead and strengthen their communities as well as contribute world-class knowledge and skills to an ever evolving global society. .

Our school counseling department was recently recognized as the first and only high school in Greenville County to receive the RAMP Designation: Recognized ASCA (American School Counselor Association) Model Program. This award is reserved for schools across the country that demonstrate a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program.

Calendar

As school counselors, we provide a comprehensive program that provides services to all students in grades 9-12. Our department calendar allots our time to direct student services (like classroom lessons and small group counseling) as well as program management and school support. Bibliotherapy Resources

Bibliotheraphy is reading for therapeutic effect. Check out the resources Mrs. Fansher from the WHHS Library has put together for students on a variety of topics by clicking HERE

Check out "Cameron's Collection" -- an ebooks resource for students to anonymously check out digital books on a variety of topics like relationship issues to stress management.
