I attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where I received my Bachelor Degree in History along with completion of a comprehensive Teaching licensing program. While there, I also completed an edTPA portfolio for the state of NC as a formal assessment of my planning and assessing abilities. I am licensed to teach Social Studies in both middle and high school. I spent time teaching 7th grade Social Studies at one-to-one technology school in Asheville before coming to Northwest Middle last year.

I am grateful for the opportunity to share my excitement about history with your children!

I am native to Asheville, NC and moved here in August of last year. My husband, fur-babies and I are enjoying getting to know this town and the Greenville County area. My favorite hobbies include running, hiking, and reading.

I care about your child and will do my very best to support them throughout their time here. I also believe that everyone is growing (including me!) and with your help and support, we can all work toward the best experience, education, and personal growth for your child!

My goal this year, is to help and inspire every student become the best version of themselves they can be.
