About Mr. Lininger

Biography

Originally, I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but I grew up in central North Carolina before attending Furman University. At Furman, I studied History and Politics and International Affairs before returning to receive my Master's in the Art of Teaching in 2022. I completed my student teaching in the Spring of 2022 at Hillcrest High School where I taught Human Geography and I am so excited to continue my journey as an educator as I begin my second year of teaching!

 My Teaching Goals

As a teacher, I strive to be honest, authentic, informative, and as supportive as I can possibly be for my students. I hope to help every student achieve success during high school and to prepare them for their careers and public life after they have graduated. In my class, I hope my students can learn academically and practically so that they can find satisfaction and success in their future. I firmly believe every student can learn, every student can succeed, and that every student has value unique to them as an individual (something that makes them special).

 Mr. Lininger's Hobbies

When I am not teaching, I love to hike, play soccer, and learn more songs to play on the drums, guitar, or bass. I am a hardcore Steelers and Penguins fan, and I also enjoy watching Soccer (Manchester United), Formula 1 (Mercedes), and Basketball (Go Duke!).
