About Me

I am Mrs. McClinton, you can also call me Mrs. Mac, and I am excited to be your STAR Academy Support Instructor and Academic Literacy teacher this year! Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns this year as I help you grow and succeed in academics. Below are some additional "fun facts" about me.

My favorite color is yellow. I like taking selfies and love eating chocolate. Most of all, I LOVE eating seafood and working with technology. I like to travel and have visited several countries.

I graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2012 with a BA in Middle Level Education. I am highly qualified to teach middle level ELA and Mathematics!! At USC Upstate I was heavily involved in spirit and competitive cheerleading, Spartan Army, and international club. I was a member of the Orientation and Registration Staff for three years and I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

I am currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Instructional Design and Technology at Anderson University.

I completed my student teaching at Woodruff Middle School in the Spring of 2012 and am now excited about my eighth year here at Bryson Middle School, where we inspire excellence, everyday!

This year, I am the head coach of the Hillcrest High School cheerleading squad and I am a Jr. Beta Sponsor (living literature).

In the future, I hope to attain a masters degree in educational technology.
