About Me

Hola! This is my fourth year teaching at JL Mann, but I have over a decade of experience in Spanish education. I moved here from Wisconsin recently to be closer to my family most of whom live here. Throughout my years of teaching I had the pleasure of getting to know so many wonderful young men and women who have impacted me in so many ways. It is truly a  job that I love. My most memorable experience of a teacher has been taking two trips abroad with students to Costa Rica for 11 days. They were immersed in the culture and language and we got to experience zip lining, hot springs, volcanoes, Spanish classes at an international school. It was an unbelievable experience as a language educator to see my students speaking Spanish in a Central American country.  I included a few pictures of the trip below.

I am the mother to a 4 year old who keeps me on my toes and smiling all day long. I enjoy cooking, swimming, traveling, art, animals and spending time with family and friends.
