I'm Ms. Olenja & Welcome to my page!!!

I am so excited to join the Hughes Academy of Science & Technology family!!! 

This is my 11th year as a GCS STEM teacher & robotics coach.  I believe in providing varied educational experiences where students can develop a curiosity about STEM education & careers. 

I am originally from Boston, MA, but have lived & taught in Greenville SC since 2005.  I have 2 children, a daughter-in-law, 3 grandchildren and 1 dog. Some of my favorite things are reading books,  enjoying a cup of coffee or some dark chocolate, traveling & spending time with my family & friends.

 I am looking forward to an awesome school year!!!
