6th Grade Bell Schedule
This schedule is the bell schedule for all 6th graders. During first period the students are in OnTrack. During this time they will be working on Math and English IXL. On Monday's, in On Track agenda books will be checked to ensure that all students are writing down the learning targets and important dates for each class.
Second through fifth period are when I teach the students social studies content. During these periods your children will cover a variety of topics from Ancient Civilizations to the Modern World.
Sixth and Seventh period are my planning periods. If for any reason we need to meet or you need to communicate with me this is the best time to do it, because, during the other periods I will be focused on teaching your children social studies.
About Ms. Willis
Teaching is an absolute passion of mine. I am so excited to work with you and your children. It's going to be a year full of learning, fun, and adventure and I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us. I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.
I am recently married, to my amazing husband, Tony. We have two dogs Nala who is a 10 month old German Shepard and Fatboy who is a 6 year old Pitbull. They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies that I enjoy are reading, hiking, and anything to do with Disney.
I am from Columbia South Carolina and recently moved to the Greenville area 8 years. I have a big family as I am one of seven children. the majority of my siblings have graduated college, but my youngest sister will be starting 8th grade this year, at a school in Columbia. I graduated from Clemson University with a BA in History and University of South Carolina Upstate with a BA in education.
This is my first year of teaching. I absolutely love teaching social studies and middle schoolers. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I try everyday to teach with a passion, for my subject, so that students gain the skills they need to become life-long learners both in the classroom and out. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between us. I look forward to a great year together.
